Achmad Mardiansyah was born in Malang (East Java, Indonesia). His childhood was spend in several cities in eastern Indonesia (papua). He graduated from junior high school in Flores, East Nusa Tenggara. Accepted as a Taruna Nusantara Senior High School Magelang student (TN7) which was graduated in 1999. He continued his study to Telkom University (previously known as STT Telkom) in Bandung (West Java) majoring in Industrial Engineering, and graduated in 2003. He continued his education at the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Sydney, Australia with specialization in Telecommunication through an AusAID scholarship and graduated in 2011.
He likes playing badminton, hacking computer software & hardware since junior high school, does some programming stuff, and a Linux activist when he was in college. He worked in a foreign telecom vendor in Indonesia and worked as a telecommunication expatriate in Bangladesh, Tanzania, Bulgaria, and Senegal, DRC Congo. Having some professional qualifications such as CCNA, SCSA, SCNA, RHCT, MTCWE, MTCRE, Certified Mikrotik Trainer, and registered as Mikrotik Consultants.
His daily activities are teaching telecommunication at Telkom University, teaching IT at GLC Networks, teaching English in IEDUC, a private tutor, also some freelance jobs like web developer (PHP + MySQL) and system administration.
